Weekly update – Scotland

A brief update from Natalie, the Policy and Engagement Manager for Genetic Alliance UK in Scotland:

• Covid-19 alert level in the UK reduced to level three.
• Phase two of lockdown easing means people who are shielding can go outside, take part in non-contact sport and meet up with one other household up to a maximum of 8 people.
• No change to the support being offered to people who are shielding.
• NHS care and services will start slowing returning.
