A brief update from Nick, the Director of Policy for Genetic Alliance UK, about what has been going on this week:

Our new report The Rare Reality of Covid-19 has been shared this week with the Secretary of State for Health in England and the minister responsible for rare conditions, Lord Bethell. We have made two requests for priority action: on telemedicine – keeping the positive, while addressing negatives and inequalities; and on future risk assessment for shielding.

We have also shared the report with our parliamentary groups in Westminster, the Senedd, and Holyrood and an article on the report was published in the Health Services Journal.
